Jack's return trip from Eureka had been fairly uneventful. His no-fly restrictions had been cleared so the only trials he ran into were expensive airport food, a delayed connecting flight and some minor turbulence. Jack had been meaning to call home for a while now. Mostly he'd been avoiding it because of the reason why he had to make the call. Specifically a certain dog with a genius IQ who had wandered into Fandom for no good reason.
